About Naim Foundation

Established in 2004, the Naim Foundation champions initiatives in education, community development, and sustainability, supported by contributions from the Group and its subsidiaries. Education is a core focus, with the Academic Excellence Awards launched in 2016 to celebrate top-performing students across Sarawak, encouraging a culture of achievement and resilience among youth.

The Foundation also supports the growth of Sri Mawar School in Miri, now expanding into a 23-acre integrated complex at SouthLake Permyjaya with facilities for kindergarten, primary, and secondary education. To ensure access for underprivileged but deserving students, a RM1 million scholarship fund has been pledged, reflecting our commitment to building thriving, live-learn-work-play communities.

As a flagship initiative under Tabung Amanah Naim, the programme continues to inspire resilience and a culture of high performance.

Better Homes Initiative

In partnership with the Sarawak Welfare Department, the Better Homes initiative helps families in need build safe and proper homes.

One recipient, John, had struggled for over a decade to complete a house for his half-paralysed wife. With Naim’s support, his dream was finally realised — restoring hope and uplifting his family.
